When should my child use a toothbrush?
When your child has erupted the first tooth, you should clean his erupted tooth every day, apart from cleaning his oral cavity.
When your child has erupted the first molar tooth, you should use a soft baby toothbrush to help him brush the teeth every morning and at night before sleep. When your child tries to brush the teeth himself, he may not be able to grasp the brushing skills fully because his hand muscles are still developing. Therefore, you should check it for him and brush it for him again if necessary.
When should I let my child use toothpaste?
If your child knows how to spit out water, you can let him use a fluoride-containing toothpaste, use about the size of a pea each time.
